The Flora group has a great opportunity to explore floral knowledge by studying plant diversity,
evolution, identification, plant conservation, plant ecology, plant biology, and the benefits of plants
and ecosystem diversity in Sri Lanka. That range of opportunities enhances the theoretical and
practical exposure of the students.
